Philip Raymond Judd (20/3/1953- ) was a founding member of Split Enz and The Swingers and also performed with Suburban Reptiles and Schnell Fenster. He is also an accomplished artist and designed the cover for the first Split Enz album, Mental Notes.

Judd met Tim Finn while studying art at Auckland University and along with Mike Chunn and Noel Crombie formed the original line-up of Split Enz, Judd and Finn writing much of their early material. Judd left the band in 1977 returning briefly in 1978.

After leaving Split Enz Judd produced and performed on The Suburban Reptiles second single Saturday Night Stay at Home, now considered a kiwi classic. Later Judd formed The Swingers with ex-members of the Suburban Reptiles. They had a #1 hit on both sides of the Tasman with Counting the Beat.

The Swingers broke up in 1982. The following year Judd released his solo album Private Lives on Mushroom. Later he played guitar on Tim Finn's solo album Big Canoe, (1986) worked on film soundtracks, and performed with Schnell Fenster, a band featuring ex Split Enz members Nigel Griggs and Noel Crombie.
